Think 4 Pink by PS” Initiatives for “THE PINK RIBBON”– Breast Cancer Awareness Program

Priti with her baby project- “Think 4 Pink by PS” has come up with her 5-Fold Strategy:

As per the experts and doctors handling breast cancer cases in India, it has been noticed that the problem is compounded by incorrect beliefs, ideas and notions related to the treatment of Breast Cancer.

  1. Corporate Awareness Sessions for ladies, gentlemen and care-givers.
  2. Community Awareness Sessions for under-privileged girls and ladies
  3. Coffee-Meet with Cancer Diagnosed and Cancer Survivors, pan-India and global level
  4. Awareness Drive and meeting the cancer patients at grass-root level in the villages of India
  5. Awareness campaigns for School children

Priti Sharma is committed to raising awareness about breast cancer through talks, events/ publications that would advocate early detection through regular screening. She has conducted non-profit Corporate Awareness sessions along with Awareness sessions at NGOs on how to perform self-breast examine. She has determined to support the society in eradicating breast cancer as a life-threatening disease. Priti has participated in several Marathon runs, aiming to transform city related lifestyle into a healthy one. She also traveled to wellness centre- Kamalaya Resort in Koh Samui, Thailand to explore holistic wellness and explore what regime women should ingrain in their busy lifestyle to prevent such a deadly disease like cancer. Priti volunteered as a Guest Coach in open-wellness workshop to spread the message of 3-dimensional- physical, mental and emotional wellness for holistic wellness.

1. On 8th March.2019, on International Women’s Day, Priti Sharma under iTrain Plus launched her custom designed Pink Card and Pink Pen with the message F.L.Y- First Love Yourself in association with NSIC- National Small Industries Corporation Limited and The Corporate Bazaar

2. Priti Sharma in association with Chiara Vedic and under the expert guidance of an entrepreneur, Ms. Prerna Jha, has come up with Pink Ribbon Self Care Kit consisting of pink range of organic beauty products like Pink Soap (custom designed and chemical free) hair oil for intensive hair growth, Body Moisturiser, Lip Scrub and Lip Balm especially for cancer patients

3. Priti Sharma in association with Indira Dairy under the expert guidance of Mr. A.N. Thakur has launched Pink Ribbon De-tox juices and healthy range of Yoghurts.

4. iTrain Plus in association with her Grooming Partners have launched Make-over counters to salute/honour breast cancer fighters

5. Certified Hypnotic Healer, Nichiren Buddhism Practitioner, Priti Sharma has come up with guided Healing sessions/ counselling for the cancer survivors, caregivers and their families.

6. The Pink Ribbon “Men awareness session” with an aim to encourage male participation in society’s fight against this disease as support/ care-givers by organizing corporate awareness for male members.

Priti Sharma successfully conducted Corporate Awareness Workshop on breast cancer awareness at Crown Plaza, Gurugram. The program consisted of sharing real-life cancer stories, experience of people who were caregivers, video case studies along with practicing self-examine for lumps, bumps or any change in breast size.

We’re often told we should be doing self-breast exams, but the reality is that most of us end up with tons of questions swirling in our heads when we attempt to do one. Things like: Am I doing this right? What should I be looking for? How often should I be doing this?

Priti Sharma executed her Community Service initiative by associating with an NGO SETU Foundation, Delhi, NCR and conducted free seminar on Breast Cancer Awareness for the under-privileged students- girls and ladies.
